One of the things that I consider most important is to have the impact gun and the jack located and know how the spare wheel is tied so that in the case of a puncture, I can change the wheel in the shortest time possible ๐ช๐ฝ(In each car all this is different) We also usually "train" this change to know what each one does, do you want to see one? ๐

Yesterday we had some night stage reconnaissances ๐ When we have night stages for the rally, we do 1 or 2 passes during the day taking pacenotes and we do the last one at night. Thus, with the car lights, we see and write down references that will be useful to us ๐ค

What is an FHR System and how is it different to a HANS Device? Well, quite simply, very little! โFHRโ stands for โfrontal head restraintโ โ and from now on is the name youโre probably going to see used most often when referring to the device that used to be known as a HANS (head and neck support). In the previous post I have told you about the use of the ROADBOOK, essential to have a good race. Here we can find a lot of information divided into boxes: total distance traveled, partial distance between boxes to know when the next information arrives, direction to take, degree of the curve, danger and type (1, 2, and 3 & 3 being the most dangerous), neutralization zones, restricted speed zones, different parts of a stage (rocks, rivers, bumpy road, holes, trees...). In crosscountry we have a specific symbology and we have to decipher it like a hieroglyph. I share two examples, do you know what it says?

I present to you the TERRATRIP. An INDISPENSABLE tool for cross-country rallyes. I usually take part in rallyes where, prior to the race, I take pacenotes of the stages. To follow the stage correctly I use a terratrip directly in an app on my mobile, but later in the race we already know the way. Bajas, cross-country, Dakar... it's different. Here we do not recognize the stages previously, we went directly to run and with the ROADBOOK, I indicate to my driver where to go. For this reason we need a precise measurement tool (like the one in picture) to know which way to go, in which direction, what dangers we are going to find (holes, jumps, water, ravines...) I tell my driver in advance: 500 meters, 300. .. 100... HERE! what she have to do. Did you know what a TERRATRIP is?
