I love the tension in these photos of what's about to happen. I love vacations because it gives Me the amount of downtime I desire to create new restraint configurations. The practice of restraint is interesting to Me because it's an intrinsically creative practice. There are infinite ways one can restrain a slave - so many different kinds of tools, different body parts/appendages. It is also a practice that can always be improved upon and levelled up. For these reasons, I need to be in a particular mood to be into restraint. It is often that I am in a rush or My mind is fixated on other day-to-day things. When I am tasked with finding a new restraint solution under these conditions, I rarely come up with something interesting. In such cases I usually just resort to tried-and-true options, such as putting slaves in dog cages or locking them in bathrooms/closets. My best ideas most often come at moments when I'm highly focused on a different task, or what psychologist Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi refers to as 'flow'. Flow is a concept that dovetails with some of the tenets of meditation, and perhaps is more colloquially referred as 'being in the zone'. It denotes the moments when one is so engrossed in an engaging, energizing, and spiritually fulfilling task, that time takes a qualitatively different form. That is, when you become intensely enmeshed on an activity of importance that you don't realize how much time has passed, nor do you feel depleted of energy as you immerse yourself into the activity. I reach a flow state when I'm working on projects that are important to Me, when I'm writing, spring cleaning/organizing, listening to music while shopping, etc. It is when someone reaches a state of flow that their brains are able to connect seemingly disparate ideas in a novel way (which is the definition of creativity). My 'a-ha' moments of how to punish/control/restrict/constrain a slave in a novel way, therefore, emerge when I'm highly focused on a completely different task. Going forward, you can assume that the most creative domination methods you see on here are borne out of this same process. ***Clip title: Restraining the Slave Outside***
