I had posed for photos years ago in elements of lingerie and posted a few of them a while back, but the request made me go back to the shoot. I realized that at the time, I didn't want to use a bunch of them because I thought they were too "feminine." Oh lord. I'm not proud of that. I so enjoyed the photo session...sheer hosiery, lace crotchless panties, garters...I'd never worn any of those things, as open about exploring my sexuality as I was. They brought out so many different elements of my personality and physicality. So fun. Total abandon. But in the end, I squelched the pics because they made me uncomfortable...at the time. I was so wrapped up in presenting myself as some bastion of masculine sexuality who was dipping a toe into something taboo and kinky. Wow, David. You're so open. So brave. Brave. Right. I couldn't put them up. Now? Fuck that. I think these pics are nifty...the combination of masculine and feminine is a part of me, of most of us. I'm not trying to be politically correct here. I'm just remembering the freedom I felt when I put these pieces on, and I think that's expressed in these "new" photos. And as you can see in some of them, they turned me the fuck on. One definition of "fetish" is "any object or nongenital part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation." But I"m going to go with this other definition: "an object regarded with awe as being the embodiment or habitation of a potent spirit or as having magical potency." The set was originally called "Fetische." I'm sticking with it.
