Some days... some days just test your strength 🤬🤬🤬

I thought I'd share my day with you, because most of my family don't know I'm pregnant (we're overseas, and it's an Xmas-visit surprise) - part of this revolves around the appointments as an important part of it. Also, it's quite amusing, it a shitty kinda way.

So...

Yesterday I was making a video for someone, and I may have gotten too adventurous with my wand. You know the one - the little gold and black one, my fave 🤤

So off to get some glue I went today - sun's shining, lovely day for a drive. Easy fix for the wand, so no worries - just the shaft and nub back on the body, a pretty clear weak point (and I might've been a bit... firm... with it 😅)

$7,000 later...

Blew the trans in the car, wave plate's goneburger and will have chewed everything it could in the process 😡

Missing half my gears, and got stuck on a logging road trying to turn around.

How did I get stuck, I hear you ask?

Well, I pulled in there off the highway - dirt road - to see if I could stand and stare at the engine in the hope something made sense. It didn't - I know where the engine is, and that's about my total knowledge of their inner wizardry...

So, I'm on this dirt road, logging trucks going back and forth every now and then, and I'm stuck blocking the road, side on to both directions.

Because the car won't reverse, which I found out while trying a three-point turn to get home.

I had to go bush-bashing forward off the road, through a drainage ditch and through bushes, nearly rolling it, to avoid the logging trucks and got outta there... thankfully it's an SUV so it wasn't as bad as it could be, but what a fucking pain in the ass...

So now we're down to no car, I was *freaking out* (until I took a moment) that I've got an ultrasound 1.5 hours drive away mid-week and the same next week, and I've had to hire a car for 10 days while ours is towed and fixed.

I'm laughing about it now (one of those manic, slightly crazy laughs I think!), and just sitting here thinking how life comes along...

*Life:* "Hey, everything's cool right now, isn't it...?"
*crickets*
*Life:* "TRICKED YOU! HA! FUCK YOU! SUCK IT!"

And you kind of go...

"Yeah... I thought it was *too* quiet..."
