Added 2021-12-26 19:01:54 +0000 UTCthings didn't go as planned, but there's something kind of peaceful about being snowed in at my sister's apartment with her & my niece. i'm supposed to be with my extended family in canada right now. unfortunately, we got turned away at the border and had to head home. holidays aren't really something i care for, but it was nice seeing how excited my 30-year-old sister become over the giant, pink, sparkly nutcracker i gifted her. i turn 22 tomorrow. i never really found much significance in that day either. why do other people always have an expectation for me to do something special on my birthday? anyway, it'll forever be bittersweet because olli should be 19 today, but instead he's dead.
