Once decarbed, mix with melted butter in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes. Once the butter starts to brown (milk solids turning a light brown instead of yellow) reduce to low for 40 minutes, stirring often. After, strain the melted butter through cheese cloth into a bowl, do this multiple times or until you're left with butter with no shake in it. Put in the fridge for a few hours to solidify. In a stand mixer, whip together the sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla extract, and syrup. While mixing, in a seperate bowl mix your flour, salt, baking soda, and cinnamon. Once the dry ingredients are incorporated, SLOWLY mix it into the wet ingredients, then your chocolate chips. Don't go too fast or keep the mixer on too long, or else the gluten will overdevelop and make the cookies crunchy and hard to eat. Once it is all mixed together, cover with cling wrap and put in the fridge for at least 12 hours, up to 48. After refrigerating, take the dough out of the fridge and make 12 large balls of dough. It might seem crumbly/dry at first, but once the butter softens a bit in your hands it will look like normal cookie dough. Place evenly spaced on 2 baking sheets. Do this fast, if the butter melts too much your cookies will flatten and burn in the oven, ideally you want them to go into the oven cold. Bake for 12-15 minutes at 350F. Take out and cool on a wire rack. Enjoy <3 Depending on your shake these will be around 20mg-30mg each, so fairly strong. Decrease the amount of shake to 1/8th of an oz if you want something more reasonable, or take out the shake all together if you wish! Just make sure to still brown your butter regardless, that's what makes these cookies so toasty and yummy!
